HATS OFF TO THE CATS WHO PUT THE EVENT TOGETHER. NOT YOUR FAULT IT TURNED OUT THE WAY IT DID.

THERE WERE REPS FROM AAAALLLL OVER THE WORLD THERE TO CHECK OUT THE BAY SCENE. LOTS OF PEOPLE WITH LOTS OF MONEY TO INVEST....

PUT YOURSELF IN THE POSITION OF A RECORD EXEC OR INVESTOR. WOULD YOU WANT TO INVEST MILLIONS INTO THE HYPHY MOVEMENT. THE ONLY THING IT DISPLAYED AT THE BARS WAS LACK OF UNITY, ORGANIZATION, AND PROFESSIONALISM...

THE ATLANTA HIP HOP AWARDS WENT DOWN WITH ONLY ONE MINOR FISTFIGHT IN THE CROWD.... THE MIDWEST ALLIANCE AWARDS WENT DOWN WITH NO INCIDENTS EITHER....

HOW ARE WE GONNA CHANGE THIS???? HONESTLY I DONT KNOW.

Same thing I was thinking was talking to my folkz at TVT this morning and he was asking the same thing he is in New York heard about it and he asked the same thing his words "Is This What The Hyphy Movement All About ?" you right labels might feel like its a risk messing with bay area artists but you never know

I think there's a serious problem with dumb shit happening at Bay Area Hip Hop events. We don't have summerjam anymore becuz a lot of people were acting a fool at summerjam two years ago. There were people at that Summerjam trying to fight the Bay Area artists from what I remember. Some hip-hop clubs have got shut down because of violence like the Justice League. Now the Bars was out of control. I think the Bay Area hip hop scene just makes itself look bad to outsiders. Just my thoughts. I don't know how to resolve this problem though it's just clearly a problem.

Start in the streets! This shit dont have nothing to do with no rappin.. its turfniggaz fucking up all the events not rappers.. Its been like that out here niggaz just dont know how to act.

Oakland is already past a 100 murders niggaz gettin bodied like its the 80''s these new generation youngstaz is like walking timebombs they dont give a fuck about nobody.

It all stems back to the streets if the streets get better the rapgame here will get better. Alot of people talk alot of shit about how niggaz need to get they act right but they aint out here in the streets i feel like if you aint a part of the solution you a part of the problem... stop complaining if you aint down to help do something about it..<<none of that shit was directed to anyone in this thread just speaking in general

i think the problem is we make it look cool to do drugs... so our youth is doing drugs to be cool... we also make it look coo to be dumb and uneducated. Going dumb in the club is way different from being dumb in real life. to many black people in the bay are all for themselves and not all for the movement. We don’t support our bay rappers like say a ATL or a TEXAS does… I think we need to come together and help each other sell instead of fighting all the time. Like the question that I ask every day is why san Quinn has went plat yet? His CD was the most well put together disc this year to me.

I say to the bay area lets get this money and get together and help each other out.

can you really blame the BARS getting closed down mostly on hood and street niggahs who came wit the artist? Especially when you got the artist acting like this is the UFC coming on stage challenging niggahs to fights? If security would of even been a factor shit wouldnt of went down like it did , the bay has came along way from what it used to be by simply havin niggahs from different cities sittin in the same arena w/o guns bein drawn. Although this is only an IMO , ill let otha niggahs speak on it

MY THING WITH THE WHOLE THING IS I CAME TO SEE THE SHOW...OTHER CATS DIDNT COME TO SEE THE SHOW THEY CAME TO HOOD BANG AND POP AT FEMALES....IT SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE WASENT ON THE SAME PAGE PERIOD...

I THINK IT SHOULD BE IN A MORE CONTROLED PLACE IF THEY DO WANT TO DO A B.A.R.S 3...THE SECURITY WAS LETTING ANYONE THAT WANTED TO PASS BY....THE BACK STAGE WASENT EVEN THAT BIG SO I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW ALL THEM CATS WAS EVEN BACK THERE.....I FEEL SORRY FOR THE FANS AND THE RAPPERS THAT WERE FOR THE NETWORK AND TRYING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME..

Too many Superstars that aint Superstars....We gave the Bay a day to dress up and act like they reached a status that they r 10,000 crawling miles from and they fucked it off. Its a damn shame that no one in the bay gives a fuck about the music anymore. This is far from Booyowski's fault! This is a classic case of pure ignorance,arrogance and complete disregard for the Bay Area Hip Hop Scene and the cats that actually care about reaching the status that most r faking. The Bay is no place for an artist, PERIOD!

Peace and Respect to the hungry artists and already established ones that had their night ruined because of Hyphy Harold and Dummy Dan..
