why do some people claim its a "white people" song?

i thinks it's stupid to label shit like that on the basis of race or class or whatever but usually i understand why it's done... in this case , i dont...

what is it? the music?
or the lyrics/theme?
the flow?

i remember hearing this song before AP came out and i was like "shit, this shit's mainstream!"
but as i listened to it i came to to conclusion that it was a fuckin good mainstream type song... the typa song you wanna see on MTV over all this bullshit that's on there

I think it's because it almost has a pop feel to it..... it's totally mainstream and for the people who aren't into rap it kinda sucks you in..... and the hook is extremely easy to remember so all the drunk ass white people in Karaoke bars can sing it...... but that's just my opinion

yeah, i think its the chorus and the beat for the most part...it isnt necessarily white sounding, but definitely mainstream, thats why he made it the first single off that album and with the video and everything...im white, and its definitely not my favorite by him, cuz it doesnt even sound like any of his other stuff, but it is a good song.
