i had the radio on cuz i like to check it out here and there...and i think we've all noticed that a lot of our underground bay artists that we all love are starting to get lots of radio play and seem to be kinda blowin up at least locally. for instance i hear a lil audio clip on kmel like "whassup this keak da sneak chillin wit your boy big von" or whatever...and who the hell would have expected someone like keak to be on there doing that shit? but then i was thinking...what about yukmouth? yea...he recently dropped godzilla and everything but where the fuck has he been? out of all the lil underground artists around the bay lately doing their thing...the one that you would expect to be all over the radio and shit by now would be yukmouth...but he aint on shit lol. even mac dre gets hella play on kmel. i dunno...its just kinda trippin me out that all these cats i never expected too are all over the radio...but somehow yuk isnt. maybe its just politics and shit...but i guess we'll see if uga2 gets any attention...i doubt it...

I expected Keak Quinn Messy and 40 to be huge, I also expected yuk. But I think it has to do with his hostility. He'll probably get play soon tho , they cant deny it, Thats Song Cali G'z is super radio friendly

I wouldn't classify Yukmouth as a "lil underground artists around the bay"... perhaps that combined with the fact that he don't even stay out here may be part of the reason he ain't "all over the radio and shit".

Yuck isn't here and plus Too Short is WAY more of a star then Yuckmouth...Yuck got spits and all, but the reality is that HE as a solo act has never had a hit record on a NATION wide level before (5 on it was a big hit, but that was the luniz).

damn i didnt even notice that, that is pretty weird. Cause yuk got a couple radio friendly songs that you think would be gettin play...like cali g's or a nothin to a bos..... they did play nothin to a boss for awhile so he did get some play. But yeah youd think theyd play him more since the bay has alot of love for him...... Maybe he just isnt consintly approching kmel like the other artists are.
