What's up everyone, just thought I'd give ya'll a few bits of info from Tech N9ne himself.

After Red, White and Boom, Tech was on 93.3 here in KC doing an interview. He pretty much talked about what the rest of us already know, but mentioned a few things some may not know...

-Tech said he has been at a BET convention this weekend and was flying back out Sunday. (I am not certain what convention this is or what it has to do with.)

-Tech said he couldn't confirm anything at all yet, but he did say there is a "real good possibility" that he is gonna hook up with a major record label for "distribution purposes" for future projects, including "Everready: the Religion".

-On July 5th, Tech said he will be flying back to KC to record his album "Everready: the Religion" at Chapman. (I am assuming not the full album, but at least the 10 tracks he told us about so far. But then again, you never know...)

That's all I know... nothing more, nothing less. Hope it excites ya'll as much as it did me.

i just hope tech don't get ripped off again
i think they have the upper hand this time as i remember tech sayin in some interview that unless strange gets a deal just how they want they're not gonna go for it.

if companies are callin and callin offering deals, you have the upper hand.
you can say "you dont like my demands, go fuck yourself, we can do this on our own too"

you guys do understand that it's not like Tech would be signing his career away to a record label like he did with Qwest or JCOR. He has his own record label that is responsible for putting out the music, it's just that a big name distributor like Universal can provide Tech the chance for that much more exposure. They give a little to put his name out, Tech gains more revue of which some goes back to Universal. Tech would still own his product under Strange Records and receive most of the profit. He wouldn't have to fight to get the masters back like he did with JCOR right before they folded.

What 10 songs

A few weeks back, Tech himself was on here and spoke of beats and names of those beats that he was working on for the new album. It was in the middle of a really long post, so it may take a while to find the exact spot where Tech was talking about it.
