the street money dudes sent me their pics, they from wisconsin

thanks for the feedback.

You did a good job w/ the pics, but as you can see it wouldn't have killed them to get their pics done professionally and preferably from a same light source if they wanted to appear together.
Picturre on the far right is perfect for the background. The rest of the colors don't match though.

Picture on Left: no apparent light source (like highlights on Far Rt.).

Picture Mid Left: too much direct light and appears to bemis directed

Picture Mid Right: Over exposed

Three are wearing all black, none of the blacks match.

You really hooked up the graphics, I mean you gave them that million dollar sh!t, but if you're looking for ways to improve (all us artist are) it'd be with the pictures. Not bad for what they gave you but it does have that, cut out, paste down, 2 dimensional look. If you could resolve that it would have that major label look.

I'm not just picking on it, it's really good sh!t and if you want some suggestions on correcting the photos, I'd be glad to share some tips.

No hatin', really didn't try to come off . . . mean?!?

Like I said, some tight sh!t and from the lil' time I've seen your post, your only getting better.

I'm just trying to share a couple pointers that might help you perfect your skills, we all need a second set of eyes cause god knows when your designing you get off into deep sh!t and overlook small things.

I can tell you did good w/ the pics they gave and 99.9% of potential buyers wouldn't see any of the tings I mentioned but I'm just trying to help you tighten up your designs.

I'd play w/ using some Burn & Dodge on the artists faces to make the light souce look more permanent. Not necessary but sometimes I can get perfectionest.

Just check your site, love it. Good photography too, they shoulda drop the bills to get you to shoot them too!

Cool,

On the photography note, same here. I'm upgrading equipment too and focusing on nailing every shot. Probably going with a Canon EOS1 or something equiv. . After that go back to film and better myself. Yup photography can be tough, it's not my first love but just wanna be that much better. Good design starts w/ good photography (or something like that?!?!?).
