its a double edged sword. one side says, get them off their lazy butts.
but then you got the otherside taht says do you want these section 8 people be the ones serving your food and screwing up your order.
like do you want that red-headed dude with the short arms taking your order and serving your meal up, when he cant reach the counter or the cash register. i mean i might not get the correct change and instead of handing me my change hell throw it at me cuz of the reach-ratio diffrence. that is jsut bad service.
are tehy even capable and functional enough to hold down a job for more than a week.
in the end it is better for all of us in society to let them leech off of society, FOR THE BETTER OF SOCIETY.
if they did a cost risk factor study, i could see a savings from the business standpoint in keeping people on welfare, opposed to working. points of view, looking at things from difrent angles.
personally, i would like them to maybe do soem volunteer work, to earn their welfare, like go and keep parks clean, pick up trash, something to improve the surroundings.
big one i could see maybe, is with free daycare/childcare. take care of my kid for free while im off to work to pay taxes for your welfare.
but, then again, it depends if i can trust the person with a child.
