As a female, I think there are a few cats in the bay with the whole package~Talent, charisma, cute/sexy as hell. It all comes down to marketability and which artists understand what is is to market yourself and carry it to the next level that makes 10 million screaming teenage girls to want to have your poster on their walls.

true but that was when hip hop was hip hop...shits changed as far as music and sellin,marketin,etc...i honestly feel that if....NAS,JAY-Z, Outkast,biggie,snoop...all the rappers that came in around the early 90's, came out around this time, they would probally be "underground"...i think the only reason why gurilla black is "doin his thing" is cuz he sounds and looks like biggie..so the labels see somthin they can probally make money off of ... now and days...u gotta have some kind of gimmick or some shit or have the same producer thats hot right now.... why is it that most "mainstream" rappers has to follow a fuckin pattern...1.club song 2.a song for the ladies...that shit is gay to me ...to me the game is all fucked up...it has nothin to do with skills anymore...nothing

The bay area has no look....and we don't give a shit about a look. To the industry there is nothing special about us out here. We stay skeby and that's that. fuck it. We are a very stubbern area...but that's just us out here. But every other coast seems to always come here and pick up something and make it as if thats they shit. It's like we are so diverse but don't capitalize on whats ours to begin with. One becuase everyone trys to be so different than the next. It's like a little world out here. We don't really want to play the entertainment game in the bay area. we got the we don't give a fuck attitude.
