..and yet no threads about it. No threads about the Warriors playoff hopes fading away. You guys only make threads when they win. Well that might be awhile.

Davis is having knee surgery to "clean up" some shit in his knee. This is terrible knews. Isn't that way J-Rich had done in the off season? Look at him now. This article says Van Exel had the same shit done and came back after 2 weeks, but it was too early and he had more complications after that. Davis hasn't played more than 67 games per season the last 4 seasons. I think we can pretty much say for sure this is going to continue to happen every god damn season. And if we wanted to ship him or J-Rich, who the hell is going to take them after knee surgeries (Jason's being more severe).

It would definately be a shock if we made the playoffs. I was clinging onto a bit of hope the last couple weeks, but not anymore. I know they are only 2.5 games out but with all the injuries (let's not forget Pietrus) it's damn near impossible.

Sorry for such a negative thread, but I just wanted to see what you guys think. 2007-2008 season here we come:dead: .

Davis to undergo knee surgery td.yspwidearticlebody { font-size: 13.5px; }February 12, 2007

DENVER (AP) -- Golden State guard Baron Davis will undergo surgery on his left knee Tuesday, coach Don Nelson said.
"He is not with the team. He will have surgery tomorrow," Nelson said before the Warriors' game against the Denver Nuggets on Monday night. "The surgery is to clean out some debris in his left knee. We won't know the length of time he'll be out until they go in there," Nelson said. "We won't make a roster move. We won't do anything until after the surgery." Davis is averaging a team-best 20.7 points and 8.7 assists but hasn't played since getting hurt Feb. 3 in a game against Charlotte.

Yea, doesn't look like the chances are very good for the dubs finally makin the playoffs this year..if the team is ever completley healthy this season it will probally be for maybe the last 5 games.
I think another trade is on the way soon..either around the all star break or in the offseason for sure. We gotta get another guy upfront to help AB. Peitrus should be traded before the deadline..he has no use or future in GS anymore now that Jackson is on the team and Azibuike has played well when given opportunity.
Im still optomistic about the future..just not this season.

arent they still only like a game or so out of the playoffs? im not saying they're definitely gonna make it, but the season isnt over
Minnesota and NO are ahead of GS as far as "teams looking in" for the 8th spot.

If the playoffs started today, this is what the west would look like in order:

Dallas (1)
Phoenix (2)
Utah (3)
San Antonio (4)
Houston (5)
LA Lakers (6)
Denver (7)
LA Clippers (8)
Minnesota (24-27)
NO/Oklahoma City (24-27)
Golden State (24-29)

Its gonna be tough without Baron.

no they should try just alittle to play defense...... When you got 4 guys standing outside the 3 point with their hands up for the ball you cant get any rebounds......and when your letting teams getting 100 points before the 4th quarter, your not going to win many games..........

the team is a mess...... and we got the talent to be a 5th or 6th seed......

Not gonna happen with teams like the Celtics, Soncis and the Grizz still under 20 games won.
True but the lower the pick the better. Plus Nellie is known for moving up a few picks using his pick and by trading players. You'll never know! But yeah The Celts are going to have the number 1 pick, seems like they are tanking on purpose. I mean 18 losses in a row? Must be a new record.
