I have to admit though, I think Lupe is overrated, and it's mostly because he's the first dude to come out of Chi Town with a more "concious" rap style as opposed to the mobb sound (Twista, Crucial Conflict, Do or Die...etc). And I do give him props for being "different". But as far as his lyrics... they are average. No amazin punchlines/metaphores/multi syllables.... nothing special about his flow/delievery... He does have good song concepts... I'll give him that, but... dude just kind of bores me...

Most definitley. Dont get me wrong, I listen to plenty of ignorant, generic hip-hop ( mainly because of already being a fan of the artist ), but listening to someone like Lupe balances everything out.

The album is something I'll chill and blaze too, not a club album.
