The question is why are these kids falling for the weakest of lyrics (Young Joc, Jeezy, and the like) I mean MF Doom would kill any mainstream rapper in the industry. Is this because people like the beat and not so much as lyrics. Or is it because rap is becoming less and less poetic and more and more commercial. I wonder this because I see rappers every day and Hip-Hop Mc's not so often. I just dont get it. Why do you think this is? I can see that shit in clubs and shit but to brainwash people with it on a daily basis. I turned on the tv the other day to some cell phone commercial where it seemed rap is whoring itself out. Iam from the old school where lyrics and beats were married in Hip-Hop harmony. But now its just whack lyrics and clap beats are the norm. And rap is whoring itself out to every company it can. I hear a cheetos rap like 3 or 4 months ago. WTF? Oh well maybe Iam just set in my ways.

This should have been in the Open Forum, but I'll respond anyway because I feel music Is garbage now adays too! People are into the Beat, and don't even listen to the Lyrics, I listen to Christian Rap, Oldies, and Some Norteno Music most Notables Tokztero, Sleepy Santino and Louie Loc people who won't disappoint. But It's sad, I was listen to a Christian CD called Best of Submissions Vol. 2 by DJ MORPHIZIZ, It's pretty solid, it's free style Christian rap some tracks are clean. I aint feelin the Regaetton Christian Rap though, it's whack, IMO. But I'd do the Same, if I had some super Slap in my trunk, I'l let that foo hear it even louder LOL.
Don't Bother, just Buy the Sleepy Santino Northern Lifestyles, at Homeboy rap.com. I don't know if it's in Stock. If you don't like to hear people talk about killing their enemies, and F them and F that, than I think you wouldn't like that Genre. Beatmart.com has that DJ Morphiziz Christian Rap it's cool, and Immortal Technique that foo can Flow and Rap, Truly Rap so go Peep Immortal Technique. I think he has a Myspace, but that foo is clean! As far as the Norteno rap, some nortenos go Hyphy, some just keep it I'm gonna kill a foo, and some talk about the Struggles of the Gang life. But Check Out Sleepy Santino, and Immortal Technique.

Recently I've been trying to expand my taste for other types of music, and if I find a rapper that has Good Lyrics I'll let you know, Common you probably listen to him. I did. It's the same tired rant about how the industry has destroyed the beauty of hip hop and how what kids listen to on the radio is garbage. People have been making this same argument years now, and the solution is to stop whining and keep digging in the crates for good music.

No shit. I co-signed tokz cuz I like his music. And I then I said that Sleepy Santino is ok, but that no one touches Drew/Tokz. I thought it was obvious.

Do you get a kick trying to undermine something that I have written? Does it make you feel like little big man? I find your disrespect to show tendancies of haterism. Do you lack self-esteem in your heart? Do you feel that disrespect is the only way to get a point across? I mean you won a few hearts with your words of "wisdom" but all you have really done is make yourself look like the fool. You know nothing of Hip-Hop or its importance. If you feel you need to further demonstrate signs of ignorance and disrespect I advise against such actions. If any apologies should be made it should be to the disrespect of this post.
