damn, another one. this time they found a little bit of blow in my car but the charges were dropped since it was only a little bit. they shoved me in 850 bryany with the fiens and the domestic violence fuckas for a few days. shit felt like compact Tenderloin. to those who had gotten 2 DUI's or know of anyone who has, whats the consequences? i knew someone who did 6 months. but he's gotten into some other bullshit before other than 2 DUI's. ive never gotten any felonies or anything, only the misdemeanor of my 1st DUI. but this time, ive violated the 3 year unsupervised probation. it would suck if i had to do some time due to DUI's.

damn, that sucks.....i think my last year of probation will be up next year, at least I know that's when I don't need no more sr22.....what happened tho (if you don't mind talkin bout it)? and what was your BAC? I know they were saying some bullshit like I can't blow over a .01 or something like that......good luck tho

I can't tell you how much time you'll get (if any), but expect a huge fine and more classes. I met this dude while I was locked up and dude had his fourth DUI. He was facing some pen time, because according how it works (or worked...don't really know now), 4 misdemeanors add up to one felony on the same charge (continuous).

They may put a breathalizer on your car to go, to and from work or they may just take you licence until you pay your fine...

none the less, it's not going to be a slap on the wrist Homie. Cali laws are not fucking around when it comes to that shit. They're out to make an example out of people.

damn reading the replies so far is making me prepare for the worst. i read on the report the BAC level was over .20 which is pretty damn bad. and for dude who said theyll bring up the coke in court... ive went to court already for it, but my public attorney advised me to plead not guilty so she could review it some more and try to pull some strings. she seems like a dumbfuck though cause she was dumbfounded as fuck on what to say to the judge when i went up. but when i read the report, i was charged with 2 misdemeanors of violating probation & the DUI. the report said nothing about narcotics...

(A) 10 days to 1 year in jail and an 18-month license suspension; or
(B) 48 hours to 1 years in jail, an 18-month or 30-month alcohol/drug program, and a license restriction allowing driving only for work and alcohol/drug program for the duration of the program. However, license shall be suspended for 18 months if the offense occurred in a vehicle which requires a class 1, 2, A, or B license. Installation of interlocking device for 18 months.

damn, .20 tho? they're gonna try to fuck you over because your bac was that high....I agree with getting a lawyer, fuck the public defenders, although mine wasn't bad, this is your second offense and there are lawyers that handle duis specifically. at least see how much it'll be.

Get a lawyer. First of all, the name of your lawyer alone could draw people away. When a DA of anyplace, especially SF, sees a battle ahead, they may just drop it.

I do not believe they will include the coke charge since you are in SF. They have plenty of crap to worry about here. However if they do a very useful tactic is to subpoena the evidence (ie the yola) because chances are they threw it in the trash or didn't put it in evidence. If they don't have the Yola, that negates the charge. If you were dumb enough to take a blood test, I'm sorry but the cocaine will definitely come into the conversation regarding the two DUIs, and you will not be charged with possession of cocaine but face a far worse penalty.

My thoughts is you are looking at the following: $1000 fine, alcohol and drug counseling, 2-7 days in jail, and no Ls for 1+ years.

Could be worse, but, sucks for you homie.

if u r pleadin guilty. fuck gettin a lawyer he wont help. i got two dui's in one month. for wild n out. i got me a laywer for 3 g'z. cause i was worried. the judge gave me 10 days mandatory. the jail let me out in 7. i got court probation for two years. visit him once a month. i got to take counseling two times a week for 6 months they say. the counseling is like classes and drug testing. i start that next week. plus i have to do 48 hours of communty services. this is in utah plus a other 3 gz of fines. 500 each time to get the car out the inpound. im like 4 grand into it. im still like fuck the pd too.

damn dude, ur kinda screwed, my brother got his second DUI last 3 Mos Ago in San Fran, He had court a few weeks ago, a laywer and everything, hes doing 2 in Bruno now... they dont fuck around with that shit anymore.. ... nah im just fucking with u, i have no idea, good luck tho! hahaha , for the record tho, DUI lawyers cost 1500 out the phone book. I got me one when i got a DUI, got it reduced to wet wreckless.

after my first dui.. i did drive drunk a few times.. well actually more than a few.. thank god i didn't get caught.. and i haven't drove drunk in about a year.. and my sr22 ended last month.. you happy you got caught?

I THINK THATS ALL.I WENT TO CLASS TODAY CUZ I GOT ME A DUI N SOME LADY SAID SUM DUM FUCK SHE KNOWS GOT 3 DUI'S N 15 DAYS. WAT A DUM FUCK. BUT AS FAR AS MY HOMEBOY HE NEVER SAID N E THING BOUT DOIN TIME. I GUESS IT DEPENDS ON UR JUDGE N IF HE IS AN ASSHOLE OR NOT

I got my 2nd DUI back in 03' (my 1st was in 98') I had just been put on probation not even a week when I caught my 2nd ....fucked up thing is I wasn't even driving when my car got smashed just dude that was driving split the scene so they gave me the charges....I ended up doing 3 months, license gone for a year, community service, fines up the ass, and weekly classes that ran $20 a class for 6 months. ohh and I had my own lawyer too.

Your fucked homie expect the fines to double, 180 days of work program and 9 months of classes and license suspended for a year. And jail time I'd expect 30 days with possible work release. Plus your car ins rates are gonna be fuckin ridiculous The muni bus and your bart pass is gonna be your best friend for at least a year

One a side note I'd fuckin cut that shit out ASAP, If you get caught again it is a class 3 or 4 felony and you will go to prison. I have a couple homies back home who went to San Quentin for DUI charges, basically you have a felony on your record for the rest of your life and that shit will hold you back as long as your breathing. Imagine not being able to get a good job or a nice place to live over some stupid shit like that, it aint the business
