Difference between Spanish and Portuguese? Different language but both Latin based. They're both similar and different. If you know Spanish and you listen to people talking in Portuguese, you won't understand 100% but you may have a general idea on what they're talking about from picking up words here and there. Quite a few words sound the same.

I tried. I guess the government doesn't stay updated but instead do it every few years or so. Besides those figures are better than people on here just guessing. I'm just trying to help someone that's interested in traveling somewhere, don't know why you had to get defensive lol.

Yeah no prob. I wanted some up to date ones as well since I will be going there and hopefully get some foreign ass while I'm there but I couldn't find any.
