i actually support everything musically from the bay area on all genres because iam a fan of the art,this is my life.
on another note ive been around the cat on a few occassions,however; iam not going to sit up and say that i honestly know him that well cuz i dont,but on the other hand i have been a listener of his music ever since ive moved to pittsburg.
with me (may not be a common thing for those thats out there) but i actually sit back/down and listen to songs nowadays more thoroughly,for one, iam getting into the business aspect of things / coming from a musical background and having a knowledge of the human mind and intellect.
ive sat down with this album for time and hours on in,listening to every phrase/word/sentence/verse/delivery you name it,i seperated the whole thing so i can find out where everything fits on the puzzle,no doubt he is a good artist,ive personally felt that from alot of things that was being said throughtout the cd came from actual pain he is going thru and/or have seen and it is apprent that the lost of freako has been troubling him,with sayings like "king freako is my pastor" u can tell with that there he had alot of love for the man,but at times i felt as if somethings where just holding him back from really shining on this album with that heat he is really known for coming with. like i said it was a few songs that touched my heart cuz i felt the true pain in it,real spirtual but on some songs i jst didnt see the potential in it that should have been there. another growing part of life, i have a open mind about everything,and if i cant be real with myself then theres no point of living for me,and with music your always going to have different views of it,just how the game goes.......i aint went nowhere,still lookin forward to the next one
