In the rock n roll Hall of Fame. My favorite moment was seeing Newstead back with them and everyone getting along and laughing together. Plus the performance with Beck, Paige, Flea and Joe Perry was sick as hell too.
They have been from the bay since Cliff Burton joined the band; they wanted him to join way back, but he said he would only do so if they moved out of LA. Cliff thought LA was too "plastic" and prone to hair metal.
I haven't seen this yet, but I heard on the radio that Hetfield was vouching for a grip of other metal bands to be inducted. He mentioned Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and a bunch of others. I thought that was cool.....
