Snoop's opinion on the West Coast

^^^the only person i've seen so far who understood what snoop meant by "stampin." & its true, if you're on the westcoast, basically the only way to get some mainstream fame rite now is to go thru snoop or dre, & dre's not really puttin out westcoast artists (cept Game). e-40 is the exception, but look how many years its taken him to get here. & he's still not plat on his album, far as i know. 40 doesnt have the power to put out an artist & have him sell a million+ records. even with the lil mainstream expozure hyphy's been getting, the movement's not doin much.
i agree about snoop comin off arrogant with what he said, & yea, he is...but at least he's trying to do somethin positive for the coast.

is it jus me, or does it seem like snoop is tryin to cash in on tha spotlight shinin on tha west right now? i mean, pac split tha map, east/west. after he died, TO ME, it seems snoop turned his bacc on tha west. kissin p diddy and jay z's ass. he didn't sign nobody from tha west when tha spotlight wuz on tha east coast. he coulda fucced wit bo loc, or lynch, or san quinn, etc. BUT HE DIDNT. now tha spotlights turnin to tha west and he wants to sign artists from tha west? maybe i'm missin somethin, but to me, it don't look like he gives a FUCC, about tha west, he's jus tryin to cash in since nobody lookin at new york no mo. fold.
he put out tha eastsidaz. i wouldnt really call that a snoop album, cuz he basically took some "unknown" LB rappers & brought them into the mainstream with him....then for a long time he stopped givin a fuck.

@ t-spoon - believe me, the spotlight is not on the west rite now...it's still on the south, where its been for a long ass time. we're just getting a lil bit of attention, with 40 & the hyphy movement...but hyphy will fade out, & there won't be anything to cash in on, unless someone with a big name makes an effort to bring cali to the forefront again. who really thinks 40 can do it? let snoop cash in, if thats all he wants...cuz more than just snoop will benefit from it.

I'm glad he's sayin what he's sayin. He's helpin the West most def. I dont understand how some of yall are sayin bad things about what he said. He's been in the game for about damn near 15 years. I know some of u guys dont really think he doesnt know what he's doing. I think Snoop is a genius for this shit. He didnt say nuthin bad about the Bay either. E-40 is gonna be on his new album! Whats all the negativeness about? He's tryin to put people back on. DPG, Warzone, Western Union, etc. He's even said he's tryin to get Black & Brown together. Punk ass dr dre only signs east coast rappers like busta rymes and 50 cent and mobb deep and eminem and then he signs gay ass Game talkin about west coast this and that, Fuck that shit, ANd snoop dogg almost Never featutered Bay area artist on his whack ass cds. He never helped nobody from the bay, instead he do songs with pharrel and maria carey and justin timerberlake, and now cause his gay ass soul music aint sellin he tryin to cash in on da hyphy movement using us!!!!! then he got the nerve to DIss on da BAY??????
