Samuel L. Jackson only signed on for this film because of the title. It was later changed to "Pacific Air Flight 121", but Jackson demanded they reverse the change. "We're totally changing that back. That's the only reason I took the job: I read the title."
I read somewhere else on the net also that he didn't even read the script first. He went into the movie knowing fully well that it was a joke and a stupid movie.

I'll most likely check it out because I get in free and just to see how bad it is.

In March 2006 New Line Cinema, due to massive fan interest on the Internet, allowed for a 5 day reshoot to film new scenes to take the movie from PG-13 to a R-rated film (originally the film wrapped principal photography in September 2005). Among these additions is the Jackson character's line, "I want these motherfucking snakes off this motherfucking plane," a line that originated in an anticipatory internet parody of the movie.
That's pretty cool though that they took fan suggestions and put them in the movie.

just peeped this movie...

Honestly, that shit is pretty fuckin' decent. No crazy twists or anything. Just a simple plot and enough entertainment that a decent and non disappointing movie should have. I ain't even lyin this movie is watchable...

all in all ...at least this movie can keep you watching unlike more of movies these days where theres always those 10 min or so parts where you're like WTF this shit is draggin...

Actually, the movie is pretty entertaining. I thought it was gonna be a fluke also, which made me more critical of the flick but it was pretty cool.

Could've thought of a better name for the movie though...
