Skeptyk - Mushroom City cover

Heres a cover I did for my friend skeptyk. It was hard though becuz he only gave me 2 pics of what he wanted on it (one of the city of detroit the other of some huge blue mushrooms)

So I threw this together. It was hard cuz i work better with people giving me ideas of what they want, he just gave me these 2 pics and said do your work lol.

So this is it. Check it out and tell me what to change. He looked at it and liked it alot but i didnt get to finish talking to him becuz I hadnt eaten all day and went to buy me some chili fries lol.

Tell me what to change to make it look better. I really didnt like the font and I couldnt think of a real good idea to do with it so check it out give me some ideas

its cool that you are learning how to use your blending modes, but now you should step it up and really start piecing some graphics together. dont just overlay everything, it looks garbled that way. find a subject(focus point) of the image, and work around that. good luck.

Yea i know what your saying. i was hoping to kinda do hat if he had a good pic of him standing up but he doesnt have any pics but yea thanx alot for the advice upheavel

I like the colors, the concept, and the view of it, the thing im not feelin is the overlays you're doing, try some other things, theres many types of tutorials out there. But other than that its pretty straight foward, also try working wit more than 1 type of font on ure covers, but it aint bad.
