I dig skatterman and snug, not because strange and tech co-signs for them, but because they actually speak truth, a lot of "hood" or gangsta rappers you can tell are bull shittin. when i listen to how skatterman words together with detail his life it actually makes me say hell yeah, thats familiar as fuck to me. i love the laid back flow its classic "g shit" and SS is an asset to strange music, those of you that dont like SS maybe just cant relate to what they speak and thats ok, they music isnt meant for everyone, but they do stay true to what they know and who they are

I really don't see how anyone could think that Word on tha Streets is not an improvement from Urban Legendz. But, to each their own. I personally think they are vastly improved from that album. I don't get all the hate over some "simplistic rhymes" and shit. Okay, so they aren't the most original cats out there, but neither are the other 90% of "rappers" out there.

Bottom line, Word on tha Streets was very good. I like lyrical content, but when it comes to S&S, I KNOW that they aren't going to completely blow me away there, so the beats better be solid and not whack.... and they are just that, so that's why overall I feel that way. I can find more to complain about with Tech's, Kutt's and Kaliko's albums this year, than I can theirs. That is why, for me at least, their album was the best overall production released by Strange Music this Year. :) (I never thought I would say that!)

when I hear a new soulja boy single on the radio I don't expect to be blown away with lyrics. and since half the hiphop game lacks lyrics, why da fuck should I care if soulja boy does too, he's just fitting in. as long as he get dope production and raps about real stuff to him like, getting D's on his report card, Soulja Boy's album> Killer

see what I did there^

just because you lower your standard while listening to them, that does not change the reality
with your personal preference you've learned to like them, but it's easy to understand why a lot of people don't.

that is the problem with people these days. They think if they feel a certain way about something everyone else has to think that way. Also if you think differently you are wrong. I personally like skat & snug. If you dont agree who cares. everyone has different tastes, so If you do not agree then that is ok. Just do not try to shove your opinion down other people's throats. Our differences are what makes this world a better place. If we all thought the same way there would be no innovation at all in this world, or new ideas or inventions.

yup

my opinion is the only one that matters.

Skatterman and Snug Brim are garbage rappers, garbage "artists" and garbage human beings.

OK, maybe that was going a little too far. They're not artists. Sorry if I insulted any real artists out there.

skat and snug are alright, ive heard worse and would rather listen to them then most other trash artists polluting the airwaves
I'd rather set my hair on fire while simultaneously watching midget porn and writing a paper on the inconsistencies of being God, than listen to Skatter or Snug babble incoherently about their supposed thuggishness.

But that's just me.

LOL you've been trying to find an excuse to do that for years...just admit it...Shit I'd rather set my hair on fire while simultaneously watching midget porn and writing a paper on the inconsistencies of being God, than reading your incoherhent repeated post about how much you hate their music. If you hate it then quit speaking on it FUCK MOVE ON
