Never So Deep Presents : Insane Poetry - Cyco The Snuff Reels

1. Deliver us from Evil -

Intro to the record, a sample, im not sure what its from, but the backround
ambience and what the sample states puts across a very precise measure
of self exploration, the intro sets the tone for what the record is about, this
album is very personal, and the intro describes it to a exact science

2. Gods of War -

This track straight drops in and slams you with pure ghetto metal brutality
"We are the gods of war, Yes the carnivores" Cyco's delivary is ALWAYS
unfuckwittable, always smooth with great punchlines, but not disguised
by un-needed metaphors, the songs progression is great with proper drop
outs from the beat, This song is all about conquering the Industry by any
and all means with a touch of pure lyrical brutality "God of thunder,
the great gene simmons but more morbid, shit i rape 18 women, 8 18
women, leavin no shred of evidence, it was sweet, pick the meat from my teeth"
Great track and a great opener for the record.

3. Jihad ft Sutter Kaine

This track is straight BRUTAL when it drops it gives me chills, this is deffinatly
one of them songs, if you were about to roll to a oldschool brawl you'd wanna bump
on the way, thats one thing about Kaines production, it gets across a feeling
that is rarely achieved unless its by actual METAL, that feeling when a band does
a breakdown and all hell breaks loose in the moshpit. The concept
is about a suicide bomber, "On my back is a backpack strapped with a bomb",
pro muslim extremist, which im all about, black white or green, we all reach a point
where we could all just say FUCK IT, and if i were to be a suicide bomber
i would listen to this track when i detonated. Cyco shows his ability to lyrcilly
brutalize while still having a smooth delivary. As a lot of times, the song opens
with a rant by Sutter Kaine, some people take to heart too much what dude
says some of the time, but imo i feel it gets you pumped for whats to come.

4. Satanism and the C.I.A. Pt.1

This is a interlude with some lecture samples, im not sure who it is, but it almost
sounds like Jordan Maxwell or Bill Cooper, two Conspiracy theorists that i personally
listen to all the time, but i may be wrong, it bassicly discusses the connections
found between the C.I.A being theistic Satanists, GREAT Interlude and PERFECT
opener for the next track.

5. Welcome to America

This is my personal favorite cut off the record, the beat comes in straight BRUTAL as
always with the ghetto metal production kaine has incorporated. This song
is all about America, celebrities and Conspiracy. Cyco speaks the truth on this track
in my personal opinion and as always the delivary is as tight as a virgins pussy,
"im living in the united states of terrorists" Amazing statements made in this song
"Genious how we murder in the name of god, 9/11 was an inside job" Cyco ona personal
level is one of the most wise and intelligent people ive ever known and thats real talk
he always comes real on a track without watering it down to please the masses.

6. There will be Blood ft Sutter Kaine

This song is AWESOME has some triple picking groove type shit sampled with
double bass kicks that flows like water, this song puts across a clear message
of dont fuck with insane poetry and dont fuck with sutter kaine or your ass is done with,
i like how throughout this record at times kaine backs up cycos vocals with basic
hypes, it adds a whole other element to cycos vocals. Great Track!

7. Satanism and the CIA pt.2

Another interlude once again sampled from a lecture section that talks about human
sacrafice, i noticed on a personal level dude was quoting aliester crowley from
the book of the law on human sacrafice. The backround musick reminds me
of some 70's Mondo Macbre movie type stuff, well put together, kaine always
has a tendency to dig deep in underground cinema to find never before
used samples.

8. The Memoirs of a Cyco

This is one of two more "Hip Hop" style tracks on the record, ive never been a fan
of the east coast style type stuff, but cyco and kaine are the exception to the rule,
the beat makes you wanna bob your head like none other, and on this track
Cyco gives you a history of his career in this song, Talks about Grim Reality all
the way to Fallen from Grace, its on some real shit, he even talks about
his ghost writin experience with V Ice, this song is really personal, once your done
listening you feel like you know cyco on a whole other level. Great Track!

9.Trails Of Blood ft Sutter Kaine

Great choice of track for the first single, cyco and kaine both come proper and hard over
this ghetto metal type beat, The hook is very well put together from simplicity
"Ima Kill Ima Kill" i can hear this being chanted live, very catchy and straight to the point,
the last verse cyco and kaine switch off bar and bar, which is unique cause both
of them sound differant but it sounds DOPE.

10. Interlude

A sampled interlude, im not sure what its from, but im assuming it has to do
with organized crime, its a guy talkin about how if you kill someone in the most
grotesque fashon it sets an example to others to not fuck around, great sampling job
and it leads PERFECTLY into the next track.

11. Can Not Save Me

Another of my personal favorties, sampled hook screamed "You Cannot Save Me!"
cyco comes real personal and real on this track, the groove of the track is GREAT
sounds like the tempo is around 98 BPM or so, Perfect for a crowd mover but not
so fast to where it disrupts the flow. The hook really sticks out to me in this song
the way its put together fits perfect with what cyco is spitting.

12. Bullet for My Valentine

Yet another personal favorite, the song is after the Band "Bullet for my Valentine"
it tells a real life story of Cycos struggle with his significant other and his kids. The song
is still ghetto metal style, but the song is sampled in a minor key, therefore it gives
more of a sad/serious feel, This song is a must for anyone thats ever been through
a rough relationship, This is one of those songs that stands on its own as a muscial
message for the masses, one of them songs ANYONE can realte too.

13. My Sweet Misery (Loser pt 4)

A very personal track as most tracks are on this record, the hook is hypnotic
"this is my sweet misery all the pain in my soul is killing me" Cyco has a tendency
to put together words in such a fashion that it doesnt hafto be hidden or masked
by stranged or unsubstantiated metaphors, he is the epidomy of what a real emcee
is on all aspects, this is another song anyone who having a rough time can feel
deep inside themseleves, cyco paints a picture of despair for all too see and you
gotta respect that after all these years he still tells it how he feels it.

14. The Final Conflict Intro

Vocal sampling, depressing as hell but very beautiful, whoever is singing, she has
great use of tone and vibrato, and its PERFECT because this song fits PERFECT
into the next track, this for a intro is captivating.

15. The Final Conflict

The second of the more "hip hop" tracks on the record.
This song is beautiful, very deep, cyco tells about a inner struggle between inner
angels and demons, confusion as a child from things seen and done, and
how ones salvation is exactly that, the choice is within yourself to make the choice
of what path YOU wanna take in this life, "You can praise god, or hail satan,
it is your choice, it is your salvation" A very clear message from the inner
artist workings of insane poetry, its not often where i hear a track and call
call it beautiful, but this is one of those tracks, i can actually FEEL this track
with everything inside myself and relate to it, and im sure everyone else will
be able to as well.

In closing, this album is deffinatly differant from any of Insane Poetrys other work
but if your a fan of Insane Poetry, this is a MUST HAVE for your collection,
and if your a fan of Sutter Kaines production the result is the same, a MUST HAVE,
i know on a personal level Cyco really gave this record his all, and you can hear it
throughout the record, every type of emotion from anger to despair and nothingness
the album covers all aspects of the human psyche. This is my first public
review ive done, and ive always tried to stay away from doing reviews cause of
biast, but at this point and with this record, something hasto be said,
Cyco is one of the most Hard Working and yet seemingly underated MONSTERS
in the underground scene who should be selling nothing less than platinum records,
his skills are impecable and ill put my rep on the line to stand by that.
So if you havnt pre-ordered this shit yet, GO DO SO right here in the killmusick store!
On a 1/10 scale this album is a deffinate 10/10, Solid Release!

Mad respect always to cyco and sutter kaine, ya'll keep your grind up!

HAILS!

I don't like any of Sicktanick's music, other than one song I don't remember the name of, but he always comes off as a cool dude.
Plus I pretty much agree with the review.
