I burned both tracks to cd and let a group of objective critics at my studio in Stockton and they all agreed that Mister Cane won. The general consensus is that had Big Chill finished his flow and not stopped when he messed up in the middle he would have won because he was on point with the flow, aggressiveness and delivery. "Perverts P the underground version of N'Sync" was actually a good laugh and the track was put together pretty well. All agreed that the tightest line from Cane among many was, "the only time you touch cheese is when you order a pizza". I even laughed at it myself. . I also played the Cane vs. Lil Rebel and as I listened to it for the third time Lil Rebels delivery was not as off as some of you kept sayng it was, it was just his lackluster delivery that messed it up and his overdubs were off. The group agreed that Cane took this battle also with so many many punchlines that were dope, it wouldn't be fair to mention just one. However in observing the group Lil Rebel got some "ooohs" and "aaahs" too along the way. One of Rebels lines that got the most attention was "the only time you're seen in the hood is on your cd covers", " "call me Sprewell this white boy's getting choked" and when he was talking about Canes acne problem and calling that acne company late night. Rebels beat choice was excellent, I love that beat. Cane's track was also put together well. He also said "if the Siccness votes for you then they're gay" which is disparaging possible voters......not a good thing. Aside from what people have been quoting, Cane said "you AIN'T droppin shit like constipation", which makes more sense than what was being quoted. Cane's beat choices overall have been very relaxed and laid back, giving him enough breath and room to flip the verbals. This latest beat was a Yukmouth track that I liked on it's own. I'm wondering what program he's using tofind the instrumantals because I couldn't find LL Cool J "I Shot Ya" anywhere.
