2000 Cobra R's are NOT the fastest production Mustang. It had an estimated 385hp from a naturally aspirated 5.4L V8. Saleen Extremes had 425hp from what I understand, and the older Saleen supercharged S-351's were over 400 as well. '03 Cobra would be my choice right now. 390HP from the factory and if you put the small F150 Lightning blower pully on it and put an offroad X or H Pipe you're probably over 450hp............

The only thing tight about that Cobra R is the fact that it is so rare. I think they only made 350 of them.

I would go with a Stage 3 Roush Convertible those are fuccin sicc!! the 03 Cobra's are Raw too I rode in one my uncle test drove and the whine from the blower sounds vicous!! I just Put a Bassani Off road X pipe on my Stang when I put the blower on and its a little too loud for me, maybe i need to down grade from my 1 chamber flows what do you think??

Rican hell yeah I got a 2002 GT that I just bought about a month ago, and I had an 88 before that. My family is about Mustangs so I've been into them for years. Flows do have that trademark deep droan sound especially on uncatted X or H pipes. That's what flows are all about though. This site right here has ALL the Mustang info and the most extensive Mustang message board I've seen on the net. People know their shit on there......I'll post a pic of my ride in a minute hopefully.......

Rican naw it's all stock right now. I want to get UD pullies, and either a Steeda Triax shifter or Pro 5.0 Shifter, and some flows probably. I want to drop it a little bit too, cuz the 99+ Mustangs have too much wheel well to wheel space......I want it mostly stock though for right now.....
