Actually, it doesnt.

Precious metals are valued by WEIGHT. When you buy jewelry, you are paying for craftsmenship. So, technically, you arent losing money on the metal, but on the overhead price and the craftsmenship by the jeweler.

naw actually.....if u buy a house for 100,000
it doesnt become worth 75,000 as soon as u buy it right?
cars and jewelry do.....
