Shopping for a new camera

Looking to spend between $700-$1200

So far I've liked what I've read about the Nikon D60

any other camera's i should take a look at or that anybody would recommend

I have the Canon EOS 40D

and I really like it. I have shot a lot of album covers and stuff with it among other things. It might be a little out of your price range but well worth it

You can pick up the body for about $1139.95 and maybe a good multi purpose lense for a few hundred more

pickin up the rebel xti 10.1 tomorrow. any lens i should pick up to? it comes with a 18-55mm lens

If that 18-55 lens has IS(image stabilization) then you should be good cuz I remember alot of your pics were kinda blurry....but tha Rebel series are great starting dslr's! If my money situation wasnt so ugly I would keep my Rebel as a nice spare! LOL
