Former NBA Star Kemp Arrested For Drug Possession in Houston

Former NBA star Shawn Kemp is schedule to be in a Houston courtroom on July 28th to face misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana.
Kemp was arrested early this morning for allegedly possessing the illegal substance.
The 36-year-old retired NBA star was booked into the Harris County jail, then released on 500-dollars bond.
Kemp, who played for 14 seasons in the NBA with the Seattle Supersonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trailblazers and Orlando Magic, retired in 2003 and now lives in Houston.
