Being from San Jose folks just bring drama to themselves.
There's nothing hard about my town, just knuckle heads who think they put it down.
As far as the "gang violence" goes it's nothing. Sorry that shit hit close to home but in reality the SJ breeds folks who try too hard puttin' it down for a set when they should put it down for themselves.

It's pretty funny to talk to anyone about San Jose if you dont live here. 1st off, this is the capitol of the Silicon Valley. We trip off banging set but $$$ comes first. The police got the city on lock & wont let ANYTHING pop off.. But there's still shit that pops off that is never on the news & in crime records because if it would, all the real money makers would bounce the fuck outta here & wouldnt have as much money going to the city (I'm talkin' bout the big business's out here). Therefor, they make the city look square as fuck. Real muthafuckas thas been out here knows it aint all nice & dandy. But there is also alot of phony youngsters out here that aint got the guidence by the OG's. But aint no one should be proud of having the highest murder rates.
Oh & for the record, I've never seen any Surenos here other than at the Berryessa flea market.

SJ has a population that's close to 1 million. But most of the drama being spoken about only resonates with folks who are under 25 years of age.
Coming from a true SJ native, the town isn't as hard people make it out to be. Most are light weight or listen to stories that others have gone through. I've seen shit go down but most of the drama was during my high school years.
Trust me as you kids get older you'll see that shit will fizzle out and your boys who are/were the hardest will grow up or get locked up and then the next generation will fall into that same cycle.
