Like father, like son
When the NFL fined Shanahan $25,000 for defending Henry’s innocence in a recent publicized case, it also apparently victimized Shanahan’s son, Kyle, the Texans quarterbacks coach.

Shanahan’s wife, Peggy, said that the NFL’s fine means that there will be no Christmas presents for Kyle this year. Just too much of a hardship for the family, she said, kidding of course. Even worse, Kyle turns 28 on Friday. So he’s getting shafted for Christmas and his birthday. Just because of his father’s mistake.

"No Christmas present, huh?" Kyle Shanahan told the Houston Chronicle. "I’m the one who has to suffer his consequences. I hope he’s learned his lesson."

But don’t shed any tears for the younger Shanahan. His turn is coming, both at a payday and at a head-coaching gig. He has trained his entire life for a head coaching position, and from the time he was little, made no secret of the fact that he would like to be a head coach. Within the next five years, Shahanan should get consideration for head coaching jobs and could definitely land one.

lol his son sounds like a bitch
