***still waiting on stat quo. where's rakim...oh yea i'll shut up bout him. umm....remember truth hurts. ouch. it's true tho...it'd be a good thing. btw making songs with 112 and david banner aren't "big things." it's a good thing, but not like mess is headlining for them. its more like how IROCC got mike jones on a track and that track got him on the radio which showed san diego what they've been missing. maybe, mess will get more spins with this, maybe some club time, which will turn into more fans and sales...HOPEFULLY.
i was there for the whole listening with shady and they were very impressed with rick rock and the federation/kinsmoke shit they heard. DART is very much up on the bay area and our artists. if there were more A&R and redord execs with his ear and vision, the bay woulda blown up long ago. rick was there to talk about Federation and after the listenig was done DART asked him for some beats to check out. i would love to hear eminem, 50 cent, g-unit, obie trice or stat quo spittin to some rick rock slumpers. that shit would be ill. as far as federation, i think they are one of the tightest groups in the game and i would love to see them sign to another major. virgin didnt know what they had or how to market them, but trust me they have what it takes to go national and to do some really big shit. try to name another group that can fuck with the federation.... aint none

Good shit... it'll be good for them to network and do a couple show with the camp. But yes... they could end up like various artist with what looked like promising careers.... benched! It wouldn't be good for them to ride the bench and do just mixtapes. They're buzz is hot enough that independent can still get them to the level, if they just network right. If they didn't have a big buzz...riding the bench for a couple double digit G's and doing mixtapes on the side= exactlly what Game did, got his money, his buzz, and did it moving to build his own shit.
Wut i was sayin tho...is shady makes garbage beats....G-Unit don't even really use shady's beats... wut im sayin is as long as shady and G-Unit don't really mix in this hyphy style...i personally wouldn't like that mix...but to each they own..i juss would like promotion and connections for otha people for tha federation to blow up...

I think joining with any big label would be an advantage.. why would you be nieve to say that shady would ruin it? He'd maybe do a song or two for them at the most.. and that would be a plus, for them.. more people would want to hear this new group with a SHADY beat.. Jay-z, 50-cent, and pac.. can use shady beats? but it would ruin the federation?.. it would probably help them, not be so one dimensional. Im sure shady/aftermath like rick rock beats.. hes been doing it for some time, and gots his sound down already. but unless you can come with a variety of musical styles, you wouldn't really want 1 person producing your whole cd, or else the sound can easily become too repetative.
