I know a lot of you wont agree but im tryin to promote some good discussion in BART as well as trying to give SHADOW some of the recognition he deserves. This cat has been around since the mid 90s rapping with Guce, then he moved on and started rapping with Woodie.
In my opinion, when it comes to delivery, Shadow is the best rapper in the bay right now.

First and foremost check out his newest verse off the new Davina album (which is an amazing album by the way), the song is called "Expozed", you can hear it here....

You fucked up when you said hes the best rapper in the bay, dude has got talent, but by no means does this man outshine a majority of bay area rappers. I like his work, but your just fuckin delirious thinking he's the absolute greatest..

You need to add IN MY OPNION to a statement like that. It would be like me saying that WINGSTOP is the best fuckin restaurant in the whole country....

on a side note...Shadow has a lot of potential and I wish I'd hear more of him, I've kept an eye out for him ever since Yoc influenced dropped (on cassette) Shadow and the other cat Los were spitting some of that quickshit and i was impressed and wondered why he never did more....but this is the rap game and everybody got bills to pay.

so you have to have a solo out in order to be the best rapper? Hes working on an album that will be out soon. Shadow has been FEATURED on 10+ albums
Name someone who raps better. The only people who can hang with him delivery wise are underground hip hop type dudes IMO

he has always had spits to bad he never dropped an album glad to see he is workin on one with sav it out but shit comes up so i aint holdin my breath. I remember seein an ad for it in northern expozure 1 i believe and it never dropped lil los was another one i was waitin on and now he retired hopefully shadow can get him on the album. Shadow kills this song also

IMO this boy is monster. Many of you are acting like he can't hang with the best in the bay or even be worthy of fighting for the title. I agree that no one can say he is the "best" cause its difficult to give that title to anyone but this dude is very underrated and has been slept on for years. No one can deny this fact! IMO people look past his ability because hes Mexican/Latino rapper and for that reason alone radio or mainstream and people outside the Hispanic community will never hear of dude. Not only that but underground rap is dieing because everyone is downloading music illegally and not supporting artist who have talent and are not spittin' that radio garbage. Just my 2 cents.

well put homie he is one of the best rappers out right now but with so many other artists out there its difficult to give just anybody the tittle of the best of all time as well as right now. and like homie said everyone is downloading music illegally and not supporting artist who have talent and are not spittin' that radio garbage. and people always give the excuse that the cd's are too expensive or whatever but thats never stopped me. My thing is that if I can't buy a certain cd right now I just wait man cause it just makes me want it that much more and if I happen to loose a cd or accidentally break/scratch or have my cd stolen and I didn't finish uploading the cd completely I go out and recop that cd again cause I support the artist that I enjoy listening to and want them to put out more projects in the future. But yea anyways Shadow is a beast on the mic and really underrated. I can't wait for the new solo album from him of Sav It Out. I know its going to be an instant classic and don't sleep on him. heres one of my favorite tracks from him off Woodie's Northern Expozure Vo. 7 compilation called "The Underdogz" enjoy. and thats all I gotta say. peace -Reckless
