setting up album ftp

i might setup an album FTP for users of this board to access it.. for those of you who dont know what FTP is, its like a file server you can connect to which you can download from and upload to

id put up new releases, as well as a bunch of old, full albums

id ask users to upload stuff to me, whatever you deem worthy as being on my site :chinese:

although i proposed this a while back and Mark7 shot it down (if i remember correctly.) Another option is to start a MEGA THREAD in which you post yousendit files for others to download. You can also request people to up albums.

I wish i had the bandwidth too do this, or i'd have this shit up now, if someone can set something up or get a few gigs on a shell or something that'd be good.

The only problem i see happening is, either not enuff uploads or mass-amount of people and it might cause a hault on the server if everyones trying too DL.

I'm down tho. Let me know. it dont really gotta be a siccness thing, just link up on email or AIM and just do it movin from there... im sure if people actually UPLOAD it can be a good thing, have every kinda program, music, movies. think about it.
