There is no such thing as a good cop its oxymoronic, because their job requires them to uphold corrupt laws and reinforce oppression etc. To be a cop is to be corrupt and oppresive regardless of if they are "good" or "bad" in your eyes.

I don't think thats true....this coming from a person who's had hella encounters with police....there are those that join the force to better their community and make sure that citizens are safe. I'm not saying that all are good & pure....hell, I don't think its half.....but the bad cops give the rest a bad rap.
I highly considered going into law inforcement & even took an Administration Of Justice class a few yearz back. I took the test 4 Correctional Officer(2,700$ a month in '03 when I went 4 it & 3,500$ a month now) & passed everything but when they found out that I got fired from my job & me & my wife broke up they basically told me 2 get lost. Law inforcement iz very picky about who they hire. Hell, they even do credit checkz before being hired by the PD.
If u wanna go 4 it thatz cool cuz a career beatz a J.O.B anyday IMO. Don't listen 2 these suckaz on here because u might make a difference in your community az long az u don't turn into Officer Barretta or a Donut Pig. Itz Very true that these lawz are very corrupt but if don't follow them they gonna throw yo azz in jail. They handing out crumbz @ these jobz now(skilled or unskilled).They making it harder & harder 4 people in Cali(esp minoritys) 2 earn a living nowadayz. Way too many work politics. Even temp agencys do background checkz now. Temp agencys were where an x-con could go 2 find work but now they're making it a lot harder on them.

My best friend works for the State Police as a Programmer. He earns a KILING and he says that some days he just sits there watching TV. Has a real swanky office in the CBD too.
Out here there is no animosity towards the police, they're normal, I've never heard of a policeman harrasing anyone over here or being unreasonable.
