never seen Event Horizon, so I went to the imdb.com site and checked the forum postings about the movie....All the chatter about the extreme gore has got me curious.....How many people on the sicc enjoyed this movie?
I really like Event Horizon. Dope Sci/Fi movie. Have you seen Sphere? Kinda similar but a lot better! I dunno about the "extreme gore" though. They get a video message from the old crew of the Event Horizon and that has some gore in it, but the quality is bad etc., so it's not really that shocking.
I just always was kinda interested in hell. I don't believe in it, but this version of the hell looked dope to me, so I was curious to see more of that place, hence a prequel...

i was going to say Robocop, and found this just lil bit ago.

Sony Pictures (Screen Gems division) was working on a new RoboCop film in late 2005. No details were revealed other than the unofficial (and confirmed) announcement. In November 2006, Bloody Disgusting reported that the RoboCop remake had been halted.[13]

In March 2008, however, RoboCop was mentioned in an MGM press release[14] regarding franchises it would be focusing on in the future. An MGM poster displayed at the Licensing International Expo of June 2008 read, "RoboCop coming 2010".[15] The studio has met with Darren Aronofsky to discuss the possibility of his directing the film.[16] Aronofsky was confirmed as the director during G4's live coverage of Comic-Con[year needed] with David Self writing the script.
