sending to print..

im about to send my client the cover work but im not really sure how i should do. what format to send? when its a 4 or 6 page book how should i place covers? and do i need to do something to make the black black in cmyk? i have read some about that but didnt get it really

really depends on the printer, some companies have different criteria,

here is a link to some templates i found to layout the cover pages http://www.duplication.ca/printspecs/cdinserts.htm

I usually send in uncompressed tiff format to retain the best quality, but if you can ask your printer what they want that is the best way to avoid any back and forth.

the k in cmyk actually stands for black, so i dont think you gotta do anything special, but your out there in Europe so who knows! lol
