i fucks with heritage oaks!....the one that sounds like the whitest name cuz u know that aint ever going under haha ,..naw but on the real,..y'all making me think now,..imma have to check out wuts up with this bank and see if its hurting or not!...if so,.. imma go to b of a!...fuck it!....anyone else fuck with heritage oaks?!..
If you have less than $100,000. Don't worry about shit. FDIC will ensure most of your "regular" deposits on a checking/savings acct. Most major banks are FDIC ensured, so if you just wanna be sure, call your banks' 24/1-800 # & ask them, cuz there's nothing that I hate more than this conversation 20 times an hour:
"Hi, is my money safe with you guys?"
"Yes, sir/ma'am, we are FDIC ensured, so you have nothing to worry about."
"We're one of the few financial institutions that are actually getting stronger and attracting more and more new customers in this uncertain economy."
"How much is ensured?"
*assuming it's a normal checking/money market/ savings
"Up to $100,000 for each signer/beneficiary on each account."
For instance, if you have two signers on a $100,00 acct., then one person will be guaranteed coverage up to $100,000 and the other will be covered seperately up to $100k.
But most of your broke-asses don't need to worry about that.
And on a side-note: Wells doesn't give a shit about you. Long-story, but my gf's mom had her and her daugter's acct. wiped clean... years of savings due to fraud, and their fraud dept. didn't catch it, Wells didn't do anything except tell them to call the police. I had to do heavy research and ended up catching the fuckers in New York, networked out there & saved the day by myself. Larger banks generally don't help or care about individual customers if you need them to. Unless, you're pullin' in major bread for them, they probably won't care cuz they have hella customers and will feel no loss after losing you.
