The play I was referring to was actually Seneca's TD pass to Jeb Putzier. The right guard blocked a blitzing linebacker, leaving Julius Jones 1 on 1 with a DL, and Julius just cracked him down around the knees. It was beautiful, gave Seneca the time he needed to get rid of the ball, touchdown.
To answer your question, the running game looked very good. It is nice to see such decisiveness in our runners, they didn't really fuck around yesterday. Also Steve Vallos at Center (I know it won't matter hopefully) and Mike Wahle at LG looked good. Duckett did what he was brought here to do, plow straight ahead and move the pile (he did fumble).
The outcome was meaningless but we watch to :
1) watch football again (it's been 7 months) and 2) watch the young guys
Forsett is a little fire hydrant. David Hawthorne an undrafted LB out of TCU is an extremely hard hitter who forced 2 fumbles, I don't know if he'll make the team though.
