Wow, since when do 3rd graders cuss like that? Damn your momma needs to spank some manners into your gay ass. I saw the game and I wasn't sucking a dick during the game while you were. Sure there were a few questionable calls but you'll find those in almost every game. Even if the refs were flat out wrong thats not going to change the fact that your team lost. So go stick a dick up your ass, it should make you happier you fucking dumbass. The refs didn't blow it, you blew it. PS everything I said was relevant to the thread and to your complaining bitch ass.

You guys will get over it eventually.

I was pissed when the Sox got ALL the calls against the Angels, but in the end, the Sox were really just the better team. Sure, it could have changed the outcome here and there but all in all they were the better team. Just like the Steelers were the better team.

Either way, it('burger's dive) was so close that it was inconclusive and didn't warrant a touchdown reversal.

Welcome to the 21st century of football it includes the rules of instant replay.

Damn, there's a lot of whiney Seattle fans in here. There may have been some questionable calls, but hey, the refs are human...they can make mistakes, shit happens all the time in games. Even the big ones.

Let me tell you this:

The refs didn't cause tight end Jerramy Stevens to drop four passes (a couple crucial important ones). They didn't cause the Seahawks defense to give up a Steelers first down on a third-and-28 situation (which later led to the Roethisberger disupted TD). The refs didn't cause the Seahawks defense to give up the longest touchdown run in Super Bowl history. They also didn't cause Etric Pruitt (the Seahawks safety) to sprint up from his safetly position, only to be fooled by the trick play that resulted in Randle El's 43 yard TD pass to Ward. Or cause Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck to throw a killer INT with nearly 11 minutes remaining left in the game and Seattle trailing by only 4 points.

So enough already with the whining. The Seahawks had their chances. Plenty of them to overcome the Steelers, and if you 'hawks fans insist, the refs, too.

Look on the bright side...THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR!!

^^^^

Any argument telling the Seattle people to stop talking because their team played a far from perfect game is flawed, straight missing the point.

WE KNOW that the Hawks did not play a perfect game, if they did, they would've been able to overcome the bad calls. The Steelers played THE SAME GAME as the Seahawks, solid at times but far far from perfect. The "Steelers made more plays than the Seahawks" argument is of course, true, but the REASON it is true is because the "big plays" the Hawks made were wiped out by the officials on calls multiple Hall of Famers, the majority of the American public & in one case, EVEN THE PITTSBURGH QB said were incorrect.

Given that neither team had their best day, neither team really reached out and grabbed that Lombardi trophy for themselves, it was the ZEBRAS who DETERMINED the outcome of the game.

It's not sour grapes when you are correct, only when you are incorrect.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I'll agree some what with that. I'll definitely say that the refs squashed OPPORTUNITIES for Seattle to score and change the momentum of the game, but we'll never know now. It's done and over with.

Even if we don't talk about Ben's TD and the TD that was taken away from D Jackson in the first quarter.... The Seahawks were still getting robbed. The officials set the Seahawks up to fail. It seemed like everytime Seattle came up with a big play, it was wiped out by some bogus holding call. 3rd and 6, Hasselbeck hits Darrell Jackson for an 18 yard gain but wait, Holding! Bring it back. Warrick's punt return which put Seattle in good field position, Holding! Bring it back. Jerramy finally catches a pass which would of put Seattle on the 1 yard line, Holding! Bring it back. They didn't want to see Alexander score because we all knew Alexander (who set an NFL record during the season) was going to walk in. I just find it funny how Seattle lead the league in scoring but only came away with 10 points in the SuperBowl. Say what you want about Jerramy Stevens dropping passes, but he did catch a Touchdown pass and he hauled one in that would of put Seattle in posistion to take the lead. But, holding! Bring it back.

The Seahawks were set up to fail. And what kind of call was that, that they made on Hasselbeck? An illegal block below the waist when he was making a tackle? And you mean to tell me that the Steelers never held during the game? Not one holding call was called against the Steelers.
