Yeah, what Savage said. In all honesty, Branch has been mildly disappointing with us.

If you asked 10 Seahawk fans to rank our receivers 1 through 4, you would probably get 6 or 7 different orders. Even though he's been hurt quite a bit since he came out here, there have been days when he's been the 3rd or 4th best receiver we've had.

^^ Now this is one of the reasons we are good, that wouldn't be true on most teams, however, it is still a little disappointing that our 36 million dollar man who we gave up a 1st round draft pick on, hasn't performed to the level we all hoped.

Na man whoever voted in that got it right.

The weather's not big deal. Hell I would guess the Seahawks got more players from cold environs than do the Packers and the Hawks beat the Packers in the snow out in Seattle last year (granted, they did it on the ground, and they can't really do that this year).

Pressuring Favre is definitely the key to the ballgame.

im happy to see everyone pick the Packers to win, being that EVERYONE picked the Redskins to win hahahaha BITCHES! The Hawks are peaking at the right time...this years defense is better then 2005 IMO, the offense is not as good BUT its good enough to make the Super Bowl. Engram and Hasselbeck are having career years, the running game isn't all that strong, but no team in the league can fuck with the Seahawks receivers. I cant wait for this game!

you might want to go back... I said take hawks and give the points!!!

this time I say Pack win...I was 3-1 against spread last weekend

I don't think so. The problem is that all Green Bay does is the quick, short passes, especially slants. No one has enough time to pressure Farve. He's been sacked only 3 times in the last 8 games. It isn't because of great blocking, it's the play calling, which is designed to get the ball out of Farves hands immediately.

I think the key to this game will be Seattles defense, more specifically the linebackers, cutting off these short routes and making tackles. They cant allow the big play. The defensive lines main job is to slow down the run, and if at all possible, pressure Farve during the times when it isn't a quick pass.

.
THis is a silly and invalid statement.

Anyways

Pressuring Favre only gets you so far, becuase Brett is great OUTSIDE of the pocket as well..one of the best.

Packers also have a run game. Guess who has been the 2nd best runner in the league since week 8?

Ryan Grant. Only LT has been better than him and by a mere 18 YDS.

182 ATT 929 YDS 8 TD 1 FL

Seattle needs to STOP the run.

I feel you, good points.

I hope Lofa can jump a some of those routes like he did in Philadelphia.

im also going to go out on a limb and say that kerney sacks brett farve 3 times this game

marcus trufant will get two picks this game. it will be a huge game for them both. brett farve was running on a lot of momentum early on in the season and now that hes just been sitting there i dont think its beneficial to him. i think he'll retire after the seahawks win 31 to 24

of course im trashed right now lol
