The niners and you guys where so much more talented then the rest of the nfl in 2012-2013, now where like 29th talent wise, ruining our qb, fucking horrible.

Sucks for Lockette who was a very good special teams guy but as far as production as a WR? 22 receptions over the last 4 years. I think we will be OK.
He's a good dude does a lot with the youth I bet seahawks get him a job doing something with the team he's only 29, he's got a good future a head of him.

They'll bounce back eventually, it's the NFL. Tbh I miss the 49ers being good it's a fun and intense rivalry when both teams are competing at a high level. It's not as bitter with AZ and the Rams although those pesky fucking Rams, man, suck against everyone then play Seattle and it's like their fucking superbowl lol. They worry me, they've had so many high draft picks for so long it feels like anyday now they should become a dominant team. This division is nuts defensively at least.

At the end of the day it's a game man. Shouldn't take aim at a career ending and life altering injury, that's low even for your standards. Plus it's not like he's some star player or some shit, just a man that was trying to live his dream.
plus he is kaeps best friend.

I was unaware concussions are career ending/life threatening.....

Again... Foh
Many people have concussions and dont die. Borland got scared, and retired. Thats what happened. Lockette was FORCED to retire to due to his condition following his injuries. Borland could have kept playing if he wanted to. Big difference.

^^ My dad had career ending/life threatening concussions at UNC. They told him one more head shot and he'd likely die on the field. Took away his scholarship and sent him packing. He's 63 now, was suicidal and depressed for a good 20 years, and forgets my name half the time I talk to him.
Yeah there are extreme cases like that.

What we're talking about is a guy who didn't have that, he was concerned and decided to call it quits. There wasn't some traumatic nearly dying on the field hit. It's one step away from laughing at the Lions player who was paralyzed on the field years ago. Locketts injury was brutal and he can't even move his neck right.

The "joke" Chree pulled up wasn't even about dude specifically, it was about that god awful off season the niners had when like 6 guys retired!
