The Jets sent 5+ pass rushers on 18 of 35 dropbacks yesterday, their highest blitz percentage of the season, according to ESPN Stats & Info. No matter. Despite limited mobility, Russell Wilson did a great job of avoiding the rush. He completed 11 of 16 for 132 yards on those plays.

He finally did something good.

Another surprise is Britt. Can't believe they have had the patience with this guy. He graded something like the 9th best player in the entire NFL last game, and I'm not just talking about at his position I mean everything lol. Crazy how good he's performing at center compared to how God awful he was at every other position prior.

Yeah of all the OL issues this year, Britt has not been one of them. Thats insane to think about.

I can't decide if we should attribute his success to good coaching for being able to move Britt to a position that he seems to be pretty good at....or bad coaching that it took them so long to move him to a position he seems to be pretty good at lol

Don't think there's a three for it so I'll post this here.

UW beat Oregon 70-21 lol

I know Oregon sucks right now but still, 12 year losing streak, felt good to see 70 fucking points but up on them. Huskies are the best I've seen them in so many years, defense is sick.

Atlanta looked good today, gonna be a tough game next week but fortunately it's at home. I think Seattle's offense will be able to put a lot of points on the board and their defense should be able to contain ATL to around 21-24 points at worst, so I think this is going to be a little higher scoring than normal, 31-24 Seahawks, something like that.

Seems pretty obvious Vikings and Atlanta are the top teams in the NFC besides Seattle.

Vikings have a really easy schedule too, so if Bradford doesn't get injured they could end up being 14-2, 13-3 on the season. Seahawks have a much tougher schedule, it may be tough winning the conference. They need to be 13-3 to have a chance. Falcons schedule is tougher than the Vikings, they'll probably be 12-4 or 11-5.

Cowboys and Eagles are both are looking good as well (even though Philly lost today) and the only other team I'm not sure about are the Packers.

Vikings
Seahawks
Atlanta
Philly
Cowboys
Packers or Arizona/Panthers, one of these teams may end up turning things around and make it to the playoffs.

So much can happen till then but that's how I see the NFC right now.

I am counting the Cardinals and Panthers out (I know its too early but these teams seem to be disrupted). We'll see w/ Bowles v BA and then against the Hawks - maybe its just my dislike for the Cardinals ionno
Panthers lose again today haha. Derek Anderson, didn't even realize he is still playing, throws a pick on thr goal line. 1-4 baby! They may be in trouble.

I'm not counting the cardinals out yet, too much talent on the team. Will be interesting though, Palmer is coming back next game but their offensive line has some injuries and are banged up. The Jets d-line is solid, they should be able to get some hits on Palmer. Their secondary sucks though.

If Palmer can stay healthy they can definitely compete with Seattle for the top spot but I have no faith Palmer can stay healthy and he's also a shitty playoff QB.

Atlanta vs Seahawks though, that's gotta be the game of the week. It's going to prove a lot - just how good this years Seahawks defense is and if they truly are back to their 2013 ways or not. Likewise, if Atlanta can win in Seattle, I'm sure everyone will expect them to be the favorite to go the Superbowl for the NFC.
