Exactly, especially these other mufuckas in Cali. If my city and yours is not in direct competition I'm rooting and defending cali from dago to eureka or whatever the fuck is up there, but these other fools stay hatin on the city of angels. We may not like NYC but I was talkin to t a dude from NYC and he sid the bums in upstate NY, like rochester, buffalo, Albany stay hatin on NYC, but they don't even really know they exist. That's one thing LA and NY got in common. Sorry, we are the 2 most important cities in this country.
As a matter of fact, I'd say there are more true loyal Padre fans in SD than there are Charger fans. There's a hell of lot of peoplel here that root for other football teams, but that still root for the Padres.
I think it's just the atmosphere of Petco Park. It doesn't have that feeling you'd get like at Qualcomm because of all the tail-gating n shit. I guess it's more of a family feel or something.

Yeah and also theres no fucking there. Cmon bro at least Charger games sell out before the season. People down there love that team cuz they been good. Dont get me wrong their are die hards for both squads, hell people still love the Clippers in SD. I been to games at both and lived down there for 1.5 years and The Chargers are the team of SD and no one has gave a real shit about the Padres since about 3 weeks ago in a real long time.
That's not what makes people hate LA in the first place, people hate LA cuz it's the cool shit to do. Cali is too damn big, and LA is too damn big...If we don't even fuck with certain parts of the city or county we for damn sure are not bumpin into people from the bay so why they wanna hate? Why does SD hate, and the counties around us who are on our nuts one minute are hatin? Really, most people from LA don't know there is a rivalry with the bay until we bump into one of you guys then it's "oh, LA is fake, and there's smog, and all this other gay shit." Really we could give a fuck. I like California as a state I like SF, SD is cool, northern cali is beautiful as shit, but all this LA hate is for the birds. And I only sad that shit cuz we got people from under us and people from on top of us all talkin shit cuz that's the cool thing to do "haha, yeah man fuck SmellA dog...we told them."
