This is a great question. I mean the possibility that we would verify life on other planets, a question man has asked since he first started taking interest in the night sky. The chance to learn the nature of life on completely different world. Afterall human life on earth is guaranteed to be destroyed by our own weapons or by impact from an asteroid given a long enough time horizon. Venturing out into space and spreading our species so its fate doesnt rely on some rogue piece of interstellar debris could be the most monumental task undertaken by any lifeform anywhere ever and would be a true testament and perhaps the only scientific evidence possible to attain in favor of the religious assertion that nature (god) holds us humans as special and unique. but then again fuck it, granny is late on her hyundai payment!!!!
