Because it's old-school sounding. The beats are inspired by what was popular in the Bay Area when Mars was in elementary school.

Mars is going to see if he can find out at what time it will be posted if it's anything specific, but when Mars Attacks came out people were asking the same question and we just had to wait for it. Then it finally posted and was sold out in like 2 hours.
