right now they the hardest in the bay, i've heard of rumors that their at odds or whateva but they suppose to had squashed it. if so that's coo cause both of them niggas is to raw to be bumpin heads. quinn had the best album of 2004, he killed everybody w/ that i give u my word.. i wanna hear what he drops next, not tryin to say he needs to top it, but i cant see him comin harder than that cd.. if he does hes the hardest nigga in the bay. hands down. yuks been kinda quiet so i bet when that million dollar mouth piece drops that shit is gonna be tight, that nigga is a nutt lol.. i cant say who is betta tho, quinn he spit that real life shit, yuks more on that stuntin, clowin type of shit. both of them niggas is tight tho, but quinn represented w/ his last shit and took bay area rap to anotha level.. respect

i agree but i've talked to a few people, regular fans, (that are from the bay too which is kind of funny) & they beg to differ on both these artists!

like they don't feel quinn & yuk is all that! they feel other bay artists are doing it bigger (runnin things) than them like messy, mistah fab etc. i don't agree with them though. i feel yuk & quinn are the hottest in the bay!

Quinn always had his style mastered since he started....Yuk always had upset rhyme skills and his pattern was always tight...but what Im diggin lately is some of the new acts have made their space sounding like nobody and that's what is the best thing that is happeing in the bay right now....everybody has tey own style and thats a good thing...

it depends who u ask! if u ask the younger generation they're gonna say mistah fab, the team, frontline, federation, turf talk, ya boy, and whoever else is making noise right now. that's who they're growing up listening to. if u ask someone that's been around then they'll probably say: 40, quinn, yuk, keak, b-legit, mess etc etc.

then there's the people that are biased by their region. personally i find way more people from the east bay listening to strictly east bay shit then all the other bay shit. most people from sf will pick quinn over yuk and in the east bay yuk over quinn. that's people's nature.

quinn's album is sounding real good already. we have a lot on the line so this next album will top i give u my word. pressure makes diamonds.... remember that!

i agree that's what it is the age thing!
Sure, I can hear that. I mean, I personally try to be open-minded to both the newer and older artists, but I've come to realize over the years that (when you get down to it), a certain majority of fans tend to like whoever they believe is "in their generation." When you're a teenager, that's when you go through the whole thing of wanting to look "cool." And, for many teens, it's not cool to admit that you like some rapper (or singer, etc.) who is from the "previous generation", even if said rapper or singer is still putting it down artistically. But it's a matter of individual taste. I can't wait for both Quinn's new solo (and if Yuk's putting one out, I'll most likely cop that, too).

PEACE!

i feel you homie.. im from the central valley and im seasoned, born in the 70's, so i can say w/ my age and region im not being biased im spittin the real.. the "new bay" aint fuccin w/ them niggas you named.. not takin nothin from the them but niggas like quinn, mac dre, yuk, keak, 40, etc set the standards for the bay area rap. they grew up on them niggas so its like a student cant be betta than his predessor, feel me? i respect the bay as a whole but when someone say THE HARDEST IN THA BAY, they gotta give respect where respect is due
