This isn't one of the songs people usually bring up when speakin on I Give You My Word.

I was really feelin this shit, the delivery was raw and he spits such a vivid story that makes you feel like your in dudes shoes and makes you realize the seriousness of what he's speakin on.

Was anyone else feelin it as much as i was? When i first heard it I hit repeat on that shit as soon as it ended, definitely one of the best songs on the CD.

Yup, that's a dope song. Quinn spits it real about what happens to youngsters who want the street life, but who don't understand that the consequences of getting into that life may be more than what they want. Quinn's always been good for that even as far back as when he did LIVE-N-DIRECT. He describes street life without glorifying it. Since that song's near the end of the CD, I didn't notice it the first several times I played I GIVE YOU MY WORD, but I finally picked up on it. That's the thing I like about I GIVE YOU MY WORD--it's the kind of CD that'll give you maybe four "favorites" the first time you play it, but then you have to keep adding more and more songs to your "list" the more times you play it, until almost all the songs stick to you in one way or another. Quinn is a sav...

PEACE!
