they obviously did not want it to be released. I'm not here to bash on you but the people that you say "have no idea what they are talking about" have a little more insight with done deal then you trust me on that one.
Kenny has said before if we dont promote it we are not behind it. Showtime is just trying to make money off the cd. Look at it this way quinn drops a "REAL" album that done deal is behind it sells lets say 15,000. The major labels see that and go ok he's moving units,they move down the list and see a quinn album that is NOT promoted by done deal and say it sells 1,000. They start to wonder what the fuck is going on. Show time ends up fucking over quinn in these situations.

Chicago you say that Done deal should at least tell fans that a cd with quinn is coming out for those who are quinn fans or to get more fans. But the flip side of it is what if they do not think the songs are very good to begin with and that is why they sold the tracks. Im sure they only want people to hear the very best quinn tracks, those being the ones that are picked for his official releases. So in turn someone could pick up one these unofficial projects, think its garbage, and never try quinn again.

Why would they want to put out and make crappy songs then? If that's the case, thats what they should tell us from done deal then so we know. They shoujd tell us that yeah it is Quinn and fam but it's some of their watered down music, so at least we know.
That's a double edge sword now though because if the album isn't legit or isnt good, then I might not want to but it. Why do I want to waste my money if tjhe cd isn't any good? Ya feel me?

Yeah... back on point :classic: I'm wondering the same thing. It feels like they're I Give You My Word throwaways, but on the real, that just tells you how dope a CD I Give My Word was. I'm waiting for RapBay to stock 457/3 then I'm on it.

It's not like Done Deal does a great job promoting their own albums...if you go on their site, it's not up to date and if you post a question they hardly ever get back to you. They obviously just don't like keeping their fans informed. Like I told you bfore, HAVE THEY EVER GIVEN AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT ABOUT THEIR NEW SIGNINGS AND THEIR NEW ROSTER ON THIS SITE? If not, that's a travesty. I remember seeing Kenny posting on here way back in like June for us to stay tuned tio hear who the artists were that got signed and the new roster....he never did come back on and clear shit up. I had to get that info from another person...ya feel me? If I was having a tough time finding out, what about the people that also have a tough time finding this out? That is not good marketing/promotions.
Im just saying that they have 1 of the best labels in the bay right now if not the best, but it seems that they are just happy with their success now and are not pushing further ahead and trying to get even more popular and make more cheese.
