SAN JOSE, Calif. -- San Jose police on Saturday confirmed that the suspect arrested for allegedly stabbing a San Jose High Academy student Friday is also a student at the school.

Cops searching for suspect who fired at Poco Way home

Police continued searching today for the gunman or gunmen who fired shots at a residence on Poco Way in East San Jose late Saturday.

No one was injured, but an 8-year-old boy with asthma was treated by paramedics for breathing troubles, said Sgt. Nick Muyo of the San Jose Police Department.

"The boy's symptoms flared up as a result of all the excitement because of the shooting," Muyo said.

Police believe the gunman or gunmen may have been traveling in a white van.

The report of shots fired on Poco Way near McCreery Avenue came shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday. Muyo could not say if the gunfire was related to a shooting Tuesday that killed two men and injured another. No arrests have been made in the Tuesday shooting.

lol are we supposed to think of san jose as bein "hood" now?
thats what i was thinking thats 2 murders in a city of a 1,000,000 people, san jose is statistically one of the safest cities in america with a population over 500,000 people, that doesnt mean people dont get killed there, but people get killed everywhere, walnut creek averages just over one murder a year, this thread is laaaaaaaaaaaame.

I've been to San Jose a couple of times. I really liked it there, I got a good vibe from that place.

Where I live is a pretty safe big city (Seattle) but shit happens anywhere and everywhere. It's not something to brag about or to post articles to prove that stuff goes down in your city because every city (and hell even the suburbs/farmland/backwoods/wherever) has crazy motherfuckers.

AMEN FAMILY! Can we please stop with these San Jose threads?

I personally don't give a fuck about all that. I've lost friends, and it's nothing to brag about. The most GANGSTA thing somebody can do, is be themselves and not worry about pleasing or impressing the next man.
