Police continued searching today for the gunman or gunmen who fired shots at a residence on Poco Way in East San Jose late Saturday.
No one was injured, but an 8-year-old boy with asthma was treated by paramedics for breathing troubles, said Sgt. Nick Muyo of the San Jose Police Department.
"The boy's symptoms flared up as a result of all the excitement because of the shooting," Muyo said.
Police believe the gunman or gunmen may have been traveling in a white van.
The report of shots fired on Poco Way near McCreery Avenue came shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday. Muyo could not say if the gunfire was related to a shooting Tuesday that killed two men and injured another. No arrests have been made in the Tuesday shooting.
