If you are a Business major, then you shouldn't go to SFSU. I am currently attending SF State pursuing an Business Accounting Degree.. and all I gotz to say is that the Business Dept. suck!!! The teacher don't teach well and don't offer good guidance! I highly recommend that you go to Hayward since the business school there is 3x better plus you'll get out faster (it's hard to get business classes at SFSU). I have about 10 classes left and if I were to transfer out i'd have to take 3 additional classes and pay more since im under some kind of military benefit where i don't pay shit. Anyway in the Business Dept at SFSU, they got some new policies for Prerequisite classes.. YOU CAN ONLY PASS THE BUSINESS CLASSES WITH A C- OR BETTER! D+ and less are considered as failing. You will be only allowed to retake the business class TWICE (withdrawals included)! If you fail the second time you have to change your major! The policy was implemented just this semester so its something new. Anyway, if you are a business major, consider some other school. TRUST ME ON THAT!

I feel u on that. i am majoring in business and registered for accounting this semester. went for about 2 weeks, took the test and realized the teachers didnt know shit. i dropped that shit, now i want to change my major. just dont know what. i'm thinking either political science or speech communication since i already have background in those

obviously you aint going to school for the girls, but i'll be damned if i dont spend 75% of my classes looking at them.

but to tell u the truth, guys pretty much only get an education to impress the ladies. you go to school to get a good job and make money, ultimately so you can impress a good looking girl somewhere down the way and settle down. anyone that denies this is either a homo, or they are a liar

Are you serious? I thought SFSU was the best school to go to for business in Northern Cali. And you're going into ACCOUNTING? OMGOOTNESS I fuckin hate accounting to death! That shit bores me, I've done already took financial accounting and currently taking Managerial accounting and after that I hope there's no more accounting classes for business management. But I respect folks that major in accounting, shit ain't easy and it takes alot of motivation and determination. Good luck Joe! And thanks for the info on SFSU, I applied there too but I'm gonna go to Sac St. since it's cheap there. SFSU is an accredited school though....I thought all schools had to have a "C" or better in upper division courses policy to graduate?

sonoma state is actually an impacted school...and getting a lot harder to get into, but yeah, the area blows ass. I applied to 8 state schools, and have seen almost all of them. San Jose was the only school that didnt send me anything saying i got in, so fuck them, i want my 55 bucks back. it was weird...cuz i got into Chico, and everyone knows how fat that school is for partying...but after looking at it...that city is TRASH! theres nowhere to go! i didnt wanna be a junior there and still doing hte same shit. SF is SF...theres a million things to do, and u can go anywhere in the bay area...i am not a huge fan of school, i hated high school, but i love SF State...the one bad thing is, is that its practically in Daly City, so like someone said, its not in the coolest area. as for the girls, its 28,000 students, with a 3 to 1 ratio. as for parties, there are a few frat parties, and some smaller house parties, but nothing like ur gonna find in a small college town. the best parties IVE been to, have been in San Luis Obispo, that place is crackin, and u dont have ANY cops, and u dont have to walk a lot of places from the school. its kinda like Santa Barbara, but SB has more cops, and u gotta drive some places. anyway, i'll post more later.

Yup my younger sister attends there and she told me about how ssu was impacted and I was lmao. I don't know who'd want to go there, it's a shitty ass school. People don't do research sometimes....Have you ever been to Sac? If so is there as much activities you can do in SF?

WTF? Why even go to school if 75% of the time your lookin at girls? Damn perv lol. I have had ugly girls in my classes only and I'm thankful for that cuz if there were some notches I wouldn't be able to function and concentrate on the lectures and important material and what not.

I barely ever go. besides, with the big classes and subjects that i have, going to class really doesnt teach me anything.

one class i have has 700 students and all the teacher does is basically read the text book.

^^SFSU has a pretty good business school, like 1 in 4 people at this school are business majors, but obviously Triple X Rated would know more than me. Im just a lowly Creative Writing Major. Communications is its best department, its got like the best communications school in all of cali. however, to whoever asked about sac, i just heard that sac state has some tight parties, and that its pretty laidback overall...but come on, are u really gonna compare cities? sac to the sco? sacramento is tight, but SF has way better clubs, strip clubs, bars, etc.

Mean Mugg - my brother goes to Sac State and he likes it. There's enough to do, not as much as the city, but the cost of living is way cheaper in Sac. Just focus on getting a degree, Sac State does have a good business school.

Mean Mugg- I am finishing up my 1st semester at Sac State right now. It's a cool school and there is shit to do all the time, but i dont know if its more than frisco. The cool thing about Sac is that it doesnt seem so big like frisco and get all crazy with traffic and shit. Plus cost of living is a lot cheaper.

Right now i'm at the dorms, but i got friends in apt.'s They tend to pay between 300-600 a month depending on how many people they live with and all that shit. I'm not positive though, but I do know that apt's go quick and you should apply to different ones and all that shit. Hopefully that helps.
