I can remember the 1st time i saw a lowrider & became a fan, as of that day.

imma take yall back right quick:

1980, East San Jo, tully road heading east from white, riding with my pops in his truck & there was a blue riviera on gold ones & hydros next to us. He hit the switches on us & from that day on, I was infatuated.

I still have my collection of late 80's & all the 90's lowrider magazines @ my moms in the garage somewhere.

hell, when the time came I even used to crank one out as a pre teen to the lowrider chicks in bikinis.

yeah growing up in Hayward they were everywhere.My room was covered in lowrider pictures.Too bad I dont have my mag collection anymore. The best was the Cinco De Mayo show in Oakland back in 96 oooooweeeeee.....Still searching for my Monte Carlo.....
