I don't get how folks can call this "backpacking" hip hop...this is straight nerd/wierdo rap. Back packing MC's/hip hop to me are Mos Def/Black Star, Talib Kweli/Reflection Eternal, El-P/Co-Flow, Heiroglyphics, etc. from the late 90's that's what I consider to be real back pack hip hop. I'm not really feelin these Sage Francis, Aesop Rock type of rappers...let me check this out before I judge it though...

Sage Francis is worth checking out for sure. If you even kind of like that album then definitely check out Personal Journals. It's a fuckin dope album IMO.
