when i saw sage is gonna be at paid dues it reminded me of this cd. listened to it the other day, and man that shit is bangin. anyone listen to this? few years old, but if you havent, id recommend it.

I could never understand why people like Sage Francis - this shit is not even hip-hop, it's more of spoken word than anything else...

same here. and i think he does it with a good sound and sense of humor. but u gotta keep in mind, a metaphor to alota the ppl on the siccness, is when a rapper says something like "icy like a snow man" or simple similies like that. the shit sage comes out with probably just sounds like gibberish to them...but he is fat and weird

as far as the dead poet live album, i dont know where you can get it. but you can get "road tested" which is just as good. here go some tracks:

I love metaphors... I just think Sage Francis is wack... Busdriver, Beans, Eyecue, and Saafir all twist words like screws... But they do it with swagger and balls (no homo)... SF just sounds soft to me...
